Notice of Abandonment - Greenwood July 2017

GREENWOOD, SC -- Greenwood County Department of Social Services officials report that an infant was born on July 13, 2017, in Self Regional Hospital Greenwood County. The baby was abandoned and left in the care of medical professionals at the hospital on July 14, 2017. Upon the information and belief of the agency, the child falls under the jurisdiction for “Daniel’s Law,” the Safe Haven for Abandoned Babies Act.
