SC DSS Names November Employees of the Month

Dec. 14, 2018 -- The South Carolina Department of Social Services’ Employee of the Month program recognizes staff whose work exemplifies our core principles: Competence, Courage and Compassion.

The four chosen for November were: Rob Burress, Emergency Management Coordinator; Ereka Jamison, Region 2 Benefit Integrity Claims Specialist; Dena Reeves-Green, Greenville County DSS Director; and Amanda Whittle, Assistant General Counsel. The Economic Region 2 includes Aiken, Bamberg, Barnwell, Chester, Edgefield, Fairfield, Kershaw, Lancaster, Lexington, McCormick, Richland, Saluda, Union and York counties.

Staff selected for the Employee of the Month Program are awarded with lunch with the acting State Director along with other honorees, a dedicated parking space, a photo and write up displayed at State Office and a write-up sent to their community newspaper.
