SC DSS Honors 2026 January Employees of the Month

February 13, 2026 -- The South Carolina Department of Social Services Employee of the Month program recognizes staff whose work exemplifies our core principles: Competence, Courage, and Compassion.

The six most recently selected were: Toby Gammon, Division of Quality Assurance and CQI, State Office; Sabrina Plummer, Child Welfare Services Division, State Office; Evelyn Douglas, Adult Advocacy Services Division, Richland County; Jennifer Chapman, Child Support Services Division, Pee Dee Region; and Lee Price, Information Technology Services Division, Columbia.

Not pictured - Wendy Whitehead, Office of General Counsel, Union County.

Staff selected for the Employee of the Month Program are awarded with lunch with the State Director, along with other honorees; a dedicated parking space; a photo and write-up displayed at the State Office; and a write-up sent to their community newspaper.
