DSS Selects Employees of the Month for December

January 5, 2017 -- The South Carolina Department of Social Services (DSS) has established a program to recognize staff members who perform their jobs exceptionally well, go above and beyond what is expected of them, and in doing so, demonstrates our core principles of competence, courage and compassion.

The four chosen for December were Christi Jeffcoat, program manager with Division of Early Care and Education; Rick Knight, a program coordinator with Adult Protective Services; Josh Leo, a child welfare human services coordinator with Greenville County
DSS; and Vickilyn Smith, a supervisor in the Child Support Financial Services Receipts Unit.

Staff selected for the Employee of the Month Program are awarded with lunch with the State Director along with other honorees, a dedicated parking space, a photo and write up displayed at State Office and a write-up sent to their community newspaper.
