DSS Recognizes Employees of the Month for October

October 27, 2017 -- The South Carolina Department of Social Services (DSS) has established a program to recognize staff members who perform their jobs exceptionally well, go above and beyond what is expected of them, and in doing so, demonstrates our core principles of competence, courage and compassion.

The four chosen for October were Elexias Cotton, Performance Coach in the Adult Advocacy Division; Pam Cummings, Child Support Enforcement’s liaison (Ombudsman) with Constituent Services; Jessica Grayson, a foster care case manager with Colleton County DSS; and Larry Snow, the Employment and Training coordinator for Cherokee, Spartanburg, and Union counties.

Staff selected for the Employee of the Month Program are awarded with lunch with the State Director along with other honorees, a dedicated parking space, a photo and write up displayed at State Office and a write-up sent to their community newspaper.
