South Carolina Mentor
SC Mentor works with families willing to become licensed to foster children 11 years old or older, in all areas through SC. SC Mentor prefers to license all homes as therapeutic but will also license as non-therapeutic.
They will place non-therapeutic children in therapeutic homes if the family prefers to foster non-therapeutic. 30 recertification hours are required every two years for re-licensure for non-therapeutic homes. Therapeutic homes require 32 hours every two years. There is also SC Mentor additional required training for which a schedule will be provided.
