Tours Offer Chance to Learn More About Child and Adult Care Food Program

October 18, 2017 – The South Carolina Department of Social Services is partnering with End Child Hunger SC and S.C. Afterschool Alliance to mark October 23 through 27 as End Child Hunger SC Week this year and to celebrate Lights on After School on October 26.

Media will have three opportunities to tour sites that offer afterschool activities and participate in Child and Adult Care Food Program, a federally funded program DSS administers. It provides meal reimbursements to qualifying entities for serving nutritious meals.
