SC DSS Names May Employees of the Month

June 29, 2018 -- The South Carolina Department of Social Services’ Employee of the Month programs recognizes staff whose work exemplifies our core principles: Competence, Courage and Compassion.

The four chosen for May were Edward Epps, human services coordinator with Child Support Services; Ellie Guthrie, a family preservation worker with Anderson County DSS; Ieashilyne Lewis, a SNAP Employment and Training coordinator in the Upstate;
and Jade Reynolds, public information coordinator.

Staff chosen for the Employee of the Month Program are awarded with lunch with the State Director along with other honorees, a dedicated parking space, a photo and write up displayed at State Office and a write-up sent to their community newspaper.
