Souls for Their Feet: Walking in Love This Holiday Season

December 5, 2025- Columbia, SCGreater Things Ministry, based in Clover, South Carolina, has launched a Christmas giving project called “Souls for Their Feet.” The goal is to present a brand-new pair of shoes to all 3,500 children in foster care across the state.

Each $65 donation will provide a shopping pass to Shoe Show Inc., giving a child the chance to personally select a pair of shoes of their choice. It is an opportunity to remind foster children that they are seen, loved, and valued.

“At Greater Things Ministry, we believe that now is always the right time to do what’s right,” said Pastor Ray Scott, with Greater Things Ministry. “As Martin Luther once said, ‘For the truth and duty is ever the fitting time. Whoever waits until circumstances completely favor their undertaking will never accomplish anything.’ We aren’t waiting for perfect circumstances; we’re stepping forward right now to ensure every child has the shoes they need! We realize that 3,500 pairs of shoes for the entire state of South Carolina in foster care is a big deal. But we also realize there are 5.1 million people in this state. Step up, help us, and let’s go!”

Businesses, churches, and the community are invited to participate in the drive between now and December 20th. Donating is simple. Visit greaterthingsministry.com/. There, you will see a QR code and a link to give. A flyer with a QR code is also attached to this release.
