SC DSS Recognizes Employees of the Month

Aug. 5, 2019 -- The South Carolina Department of Social Services’ Employee of the Month Program honors staff whose work exemplifies our core principles: Competence, Courage and Compassion.

The four most recently selected were: Sarah Behzadian, Human Services Coordinator with Intensive Foster Care and Clinical Services; Candace Brown, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Case Manager with Horry County DSS; Mary Chapman, Paralegal with Chesterfield County DSS; and Karen Palmer, Server Engineer with Information Security.

Staff selected for the Employee of the Month Program are awarded with lunch with the State Director, along with other honorees; a dedicated parking space; a photo and write up displayed at State Office; and a write-up sent to their community newspaper.
