SC DSS Honors December Employees of the Month

November 23, 2021 -- The South Carolina Department of Social Services Employee of the Month program recognizes staff whose work exemplifies our core principles: Competence, Courage and Compassion.

The eight most recently selected were: Santana Jones, Strategic Planning and Innovation, State Office; Jim Duke, Information Technology, Columbia; Kyra McMillan, Legal Services, North Charleston; Autumn Goodwin, Child Welfare Services, Spartanburg County; Mahalie Milstead, Child Welfare Services, Anderson; Kishia Gibbs, Adult Advocacy Services, North Charleston; Brittany Smith, Child Support Services Division, Columbia and Angela Blyther, Economic Services, State Office.

Staff selected for the Employee of the Month Program are awarded with lunch with the State Director, along with other honorees; a dedicated parking space; a photo and write up displayed at State Office; and a write-up sent to their community newspaper.
