DSS Names September Employees of the Month

October 3, 2017 -- The South Carolina Department of Social Services (DSS) has established a program to recognize staff members who perform their jobs exceptionally well, go above and beyond what is expected of them, and in doing so, demonstrates our core principles of competence, courage, and compassion.

The four selected for September were Amanda Hull, a Foster Care Manager with Charleston County DSS; Seandra Kelly, a Specialized Food Assistance and Food program coordinator; Cindy McIntee, a regional attorney in the Lowcountry; and Charles Reese, a data and telecommunications manager in Information Management.

Staff selected for the Employee of the Month Program are awarded with lunch with the State Director along with other honorees, a dedicated parking space, a photo and write up displayed at State Office, and a write-up sent to their community newspaper.
