Notice of Abandonment -- Greenwood

July 18, 2019 – Greenwood County EMS Medic 50 was presented with an infant child under the Daniel’s Law on July 17, 2019. 

The African American male was born on July 17, 2019, weighing about 5 pounds and measuring 18.9 inches. Under the Safe Haven for Abandoned Babies Act, Greenwood County DSS took custody of the child.

A permanency planning hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Sept. 9, 2019, at the Greenwood County Courthouse, Family Court Room, 528 Monument St., Greenwood, SC 29646.
