A 6-week- old baby boy was surrendered to Greenville Memorial Hospital under Daniel’s Law on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 around 9:00 a.m. The baby was born on December 26, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital in Spartanburg, SC and placed with medical professionals on February 5, 2019 at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville SC. The baby is a White Hispanic male and weighs 8 pounds, 13 ounces, and is 20 inches long. Under the Safe Haven Act, a permanency planning hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on March 13, 2019 at the Union County Family Court, located at 210 W. Main St, Union, SC 29379. Any person wishing to assert parental rights regarding the infant must do so at this hearing.
