Description: The South Carolina Department of Social Services seeks to provide and receive information about options for recruitment, pre-licensing, and initial and on-going training and support of resource families (foster and adoptive); options for family strengthening services, support and supervision, including parent skill-building and voluntary case management; and strategies for up-front and on-going family finding and facilitated family conferencing (including family team meetings and family group decision-making) to ensure maximum compliance with S.C. Code Ann. §63-7-640.

Details: This Request for Information is to provide you with information about our informational meetings, and is for research purposes only. It will be used to determine the availability of vendors able to provide the services pending subsequent Requests for Proposal. Note that the information provided may be used in developing a complete solicitation. Vendors are not guaranteed any contract award either by providing information or by attending one of the meetings.
